Sea Sunday is the day set by many Christian Churches to remember, celebrate, pray for seafarers and their families and give thanks for their lives and work. It is officially held on the second Sunday in July. Seafarers work tirelessly in the high seas throughout the year bringing us more than ninety percent of the goods we need.

The Mission to Seafarers has been caring for seafarers for over 170 years. One of the ways that they care for seafarers is by having their chaplain visit them on their ships. The chaplains are there to offer help with anything from providing access to the internet and transport to shops, to offering advice and helping them contact their families.
